Ukrainian bookshelf!

The first Ukrainian bookshelf appeared in Cyprus. It was opened in the Municipal Library of Strovolos, located in the suburbs of the Cypriot capital, Nicosia. This was announced on the website of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus. During the opening, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Cyprus, Ruslan Nimchynskyi, tried to provide all-round assistance in the implementation of this initiative to the representatives of the Union of Municipalities of Cyprus and the Municipality of Strovolos. The ambassador emphasized the importance of access to Ukrainian literature, especially for temporarily displaced Ukrainians, because it allows them to maintain a connection with their homeland and their native language. It is noted that the shelf was opened as part of the "Ukrainian Bookshelf" project, initiated before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion by the First Lady together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the Ukrainian Institute of Books and Ukrainian embassies.
