Assistance for Ukrainians in Poland of 500 zlotys
New assistance provided by the Polish Red Cross to Ukrainian refugees fleeing the conflict. 500 PLN worth of food, toiletries, and other items.
9,000 Ukrainian families are expected to get aid as part of the initiative. The Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein foundations are funding the certificates. Between August 1 and September 16, 2022, vouchers will be accepted.
Who can participate in the program?
Link kopierenParticipants in the program must have departed Ukraine after February 24 and not previously received aid from the Polish Red Cross. Additionally, you must reside in the voivodships where the program will be run:
Nizhnyoshlyonskyi \sLubuski
Malopolska
Subcarpathian
Podlaskie
Shlyonsky \sŚwiętokrzyskie
Warmian-Masurian \sWielkopolska;
Families with children, those over 50 and their families, and the guardians of people with disabilities are all given certificates.
Where can I obtain support?
Link kopierenThe Red Cross district and district offices are places where you can obtain assistance. The applicant must have an original passport, a PESEL number, copies of all of their children's birth certificates, a certificate of their disability status (if applicable), and proof of their temporary residence, such as a housing rental agreement, a certificate from the city hall, or a statement from the local community.
In Poland, there are more than 60,000 establishments where gift vouchers can be used.
