Crossing EU borders with the Diia.pl document

A document that confirms legal stay on the territory of Poland and allows travel within the EU

With the Diia.pl electronic document, Ukrainian migrants gained the ability to enter the European Union.

On the Polish government's website, a message explains this law: "Poland informed the European Commission about the electronic document available to refugees from Ukraine - Diia.pl, as a document that confirms their travel on Polish territory and permits them to travel within the European Union, as well as cross its external borders.

The mObywat mobile application, which can be downloaded for Android and iOS smartphones, provides access to the Diia.pl document.A PESEL, the Polish equivalent of the Ukrainian identity code, is also required. In order to create an account, you must also get an electronic signature. Sending to one of the territorial offices is required for this.
