From Kyiv to Warsaw in 5 hours: a high-speed train will be launched between the countries

Poland and Ukraine signed an agreement on the development of a high-speed rail connection between Warsaw and Kyiv.

After the implementation of the project, the travel time between Warsaw and Kyiv will be reduced by three times. Now several Ukrzaliznytsia trains run from Ukraine to Poland.

A cooperation agreement was signed between Ukraine and Poland, according to which a high-speed train will run between the capitals of these countries. The contract is signed for three years and provides for the construction of a high-speed line along the route Warsaw - Lviv - Kyiv.

According to the plan, the journey from Warsaw to Kyiv will last 4-5 hours, and the speed of the train will be 250 kilometers per hour. Currently, the travel time between the two capitals is about 16 hours. Thus, the new train will allow passengers to reach their destination much faster.
