This is the so-called "Solidarity Ticket," which will continue to be utilized, but the requirements for getting and using it will alter as of September 15 in conformity with international standards and the lessons learned during the last six months. The railroad company MAV published a report on this.
The "Solidarity Tickets"' terms of usage will change. However, they continue to offer unrestricted entry to individuals compelled to leave Ukraine, whether they intend to remain in Hungary or move to other nations in Europe.

The ticket entitles the bearer to free passage on trains in second class. Additional high-speed train tickets as well as the seat tickets needed for premium class travel must be purchased for use on other trains. Other domestic travel within Hungary is subject to reductions based on governmental rules and rail fares. Additionally, free Solidarity tickets are usable for foreign travel (on the part of the route within Hungary).
