How to get an identification code if a person is abroad? Citizens of Ukraine who live or stay abroad and cannot come to the relevant control body in Ukraine, in case of need to make changes to the State Register or obtain a document certifying the registration of natural persons in the State Register, can send by post to the State Tax Service of Ukraine ( Kyiv, Lvivska square, 8). The application for changes under f. 5DR and a photocopy with a clear image of the identity document. Signature of a natural person on the Application for making changes according to f. 5DR must be certified in accordance with the procedure established by law. At the same time, documents issued by the competent authorities of a foreign state and drawn up in a foreign language must be certified in accordance with the procedure established by Ukrainian legislation and translated into Ukrainian, unless otherwise stipulated by international treaties of Ukraine. A document certifying the registration in the State Register of a natural person who lives or stays abroad and cannot come to the relevant supervisory body in Ukraine can be sent to the foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine at the place of residence abroad or at the written request of the person to the address specified by him abroad.
