Payments are canceled in the Czech Republic
Housing compensation payments for Ukrainian refugees are cancelled
From July, the Czech Republic plans to amend the law on aid to Ukrainians. Only owners of apartments who will live with refugees will be able to receive monetary compensation. Only owners of apartments who will live with refugees will be able to receive only owners of apartments.
Currently, Czechs who provide refugees from Ukraine with housing, apartments or houses with a place to rest, a kitchen, a bathroom and access to drinking water, receive compensation from the government - solidarity aid.
And already in July, the owner who shares his apartment with a refugee and lives with him under the same roof will be entitled to the payment, and if the refugees are given the entire apartment, then the cost of the apartment will be taken into account in the financial assistance.
Also, according to the new rules, refugees will not have the right to receive state social benefits, accommodation payments and housing subsidies.
