The program provides for the payment of 700 zlotys to the applicant and 600 zlotys to each member of his family. Payments are made within three months. That is, during this time one person can receive payments of approximately 17 thousand hryvnias.
Currently, you can apply for and receive financial assistance from Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe in six cities in Poland by calling:

You need to send an SMS to one of these phone numbers, indicating the name and surname of the applicant, city of residence in Poland, phone number, number of people in the family, information on whether there is a person with a disability in the family. If the application is approved, you will receive a return SMS message with the date and address where you should come with all family members and documents:
a passport or other document confirming the identity of the applicant and each family member;
a document confirming the date of entry to Poland;
in case someone from the family has a disability or a serious illness, it will be necessary to provide medical documentation.

a mother or father raising a child independently;
persons over 65 years of age who do not have other adult relatives in Poland;
pregnant women;
father or mother of two or more children;
people who have relatives with disabilities or who are seriously ill.
Citizens of Ukraine (and other countries who legally resided in Ukraine before that) who arrived in Poland after February 24, 2022 and have not yet received aid from other charitable organizations can apply for participation in the Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe program. Those who have already received aid from the UN, the International Rescue Committee and other organizations, the application for financial support from the Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe fund will not be confirmed. Also, the applicant and none of his family members must not work in Poland and receive other types of income, in particular from entrepreneurial activities.
In addition, the Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe fund plans to provide one-time winter preparation assistance to existing participants of this cash assistance. Not all participants automatically receive assistance for the winter. Recipients of funds will be selected based on the vulnerability criteria defined for the winter. That is why participants should update and confirm their information. Only families who fill out the form and meet the criteria will receive support.
