The program of financial support for Ukrainians in Georgia was extended

The Minister of Health of Georgia, Zurab Azarashvili, announced that the program of material support for Ukrainian refugees will be extended for another six months.

We will remind you that since February, Ukrainians fleeing the war have been provided free housing. In the summer, this program was discontinued, instead Ukrainian refugees were allocated 300 GEL (~$110) per family or 45 GEL ($16) per person.💸

The Georgian government allocates this amount to Ukrainian families for rent assistance. According to the minister, currently in Georgia, 500 families from Ukraine receive payments in the amount of 300 GEL, and more than 1,050 people receive monthly social assistance in the amount of 45 GEL per person.
